The Chief Minister’s residence turned vibrant with Holi celebrations as folk artists from across Uttarakhand gathered to mark the festival. Traditional music, dance, and cultural performances created a festive atmosphere, reflecting the state’s rich heritage.

Artists representing Garhwal, Kumaon, Jaunsar, and Pauri districts performed folk songs and dances in their distinct styles. Jaunsari artists presented the Harul dance, while Kumaoni holiyars sang traditional Holi songs. A cultural troupe from the Rath region of Pauri also performed seasonal folk numbers, adding to the diversity of the event. Traditional instruments like dhol and manjira accompanied the performances.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami greeted the artists and attendees with colors and extended festive wishes. He was seen interacting with performers and participating in the celebrations.

Folk artists expressed appreciation for the state government’s efforts in promoting and preserving traditional culture. They said initiatives to support local artists and regional art forms have strengthened Uttarakhand’s cultural identity.
