Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off a vacuum-based road sweeping machine at the CM Camp Office in Dehradun, an initiative by the Municipal Corporation. He appreciated the corporation’s efforts to make the city cleaner and more modern, stating that the smart technology-based system will help achieve the objectives of the National Clean Air Programme.
The Chief Minister said that strengthening the city’s cleaning system with advanced technology will make road cleaning faster and more effective. The use of these machines will also reduce dust and pollution levels, providing residents with a cleaner environment. He urged the corporation and related departments to intensify such activities to keep Dehradun clean, green, and beautiful.
The event was attended by Dehradun Mayor Saurabh Thapliyal, Municipal Commissioner Namami Bansal, and other officials.
