Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday distributed appointment letters to 187 selected candidates during a program held at the Mukhyasevak Sadan in the CM residence. The event saw the appointment of 144 candidates selected for various posts in the Irrigation Department, along with 43 eligible dependents under the deceased employee quota in the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.
CM Dhami encouraged the newly appointed individuals to perform their duties with honesty, dedication, transparency, and a strong sense of responsibility. He emphasized that the state government is committed to resolving long-pending issues and has provided appointments to the dependents of deceased employees after years of delay.
He highlighted that 150 dependents were appointed last year, and with the 43 additional letters handed out today, the state has fulfilled its commitment. CM Dhami also noted that due to improved efforts and management, the Transport Corporation registered a record profit of over ₹56 crore in 2024.
The appointments mark a continued push by the Uttarakhand government toward administrative efficiency and welfare-driven governance.
