CM Dhami Hoists National Flag at CM Residence, Pledges Commitment to National Unity

On the 79th Independence Day, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the national flag at the CM residence and administered an oath of national unity. Extending greetings to the people of Uttarakhand, he paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India’s freedom and security. He also offered condolences to families affected by recent disasters in Dharali and other regions, assuring that rehabilitation measures would be undertaken in the affected areas.

Dhami stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India’s global recognition has grown, with several historic decisions shaping the nation’s progress. In Uttarakhand, reconstruction and development projects are advancing rapidly. He reaffirmed the state government’s resolve to work towards the holistic development of the state, with a vision spanning the next 25 years.

Later, the Chief Minister participated in flag hoisting at the BJP office on Balbir Road, where Rajya Sabha MPs and BJP state leaders including Mahendra Bhatt, Naresh Bansal, and Cabinet Minister Ganesh were present.
