CM Dhami Inspects Doon Medical College, Reviews Health Services and Meets Patients

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a surprise inspection of Doon Medical College Hospital on Saturday evening to review the availability of medical facilities, quality of treatment, and overall management. During the visit, he interacted with patients and their attendants to gather direct feedback on hospital services.

The Chief Minister met several patients under treatment, inquired about their health conditions, and sought their opinions on the care being provided. By engaging directly with patients and families, he assessed the standard of healthcare and instructed officials to address key concerns.

As part of the government’s efforts to strengthen healthcare services, CM Dhami directed hospital authorities to ensure better amenities for attendants in waiting areas. Inspecting the waiting hall, he emphasized the need for proper drinking water, fans, and adequate seating arrangements. He highlighted that attendants are an essential part of the hospital environment and must be provided with basic facilities for their comfort.

The Chief Minister also instructed officials to immediately improve cleanliness, ensure regular sanitization, and carry out necessary maintenance and painting within the hospital premises. He noted that a hospital is not only a place for treatment but also a source of emotional and physical support, making hygiene and upkeep vital.

CM Dhami reiterated that the comfort and dignity of patients’ attendants are also a priority for the state government. He stressed that every effort is being made to provide the best possible services in government hospitals.
