CM Dhami inspects Mussoorie Road, directs speedy restoration of flood-affected areas

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the state’s flood situation at the State Emergency Operation Center before conducting a ground inspection of Mussoorie Road and Kimadi area. He instructed officials to ensure quick restoration of main roads and provide immediate alternative arrangements for public movement where routes remain blocked.

The Chief Minister directed all departments to work on a war footing to restore normalcy in affected regions. He emphasized providing immediate financial relief and essential services to disaster-hit families as per disaster norms. Considering ongoing rainfall, he ordered that priority be given to establishing alternative routes and relief camps in areas where connectivity has been cut off.

Dhami assured that the state government stands firmly with disaster-affected people and is making every possible effort to restore normal life at the earliest.

Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Disaster Management Advisory Committee Vice Chairman Vinay Rohilla, Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey, Dehradun District Magistrate Savin Bansal, SSP Ajay Singh, and other district officials were present during the inspection.
