CM Dhami offers prayers at Maa Dhari Devi, inspects disaster-affected areas

After assessing the disaster-affected regions in Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the Maa Dhari Devi Temple in Pauri Garhwal. At the temple, the CM offered prayers for the safety, health, prosperity, and relief of the people of Uttarakhand from natural calamities. He said that Maa Dhari Devi is revered across the state, and he came to seek her blessings for the welfare of all Uttarakhand residents during this critical period.

Following the prayers, the Chief Minister interacted with local residents, traders, pilgrims, and members of the temple committee. He listened to their concerns and assured them that the state government is continuously striving to deliver relief to all those in need.

CM Dhami also inspected the temple premises and the banks of the Alaknanda River, directing officials to immediately start constructing solid protective walls along both riverbanks to prevent soil erosion. He emphasized that safety standards must not be compromised and that quality and transparency should be ensured in all works.

Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, MLAs Asha Nautiyal and Bharat Singh Chaudhary, District Magistrate Swati S. Bhadauria, Senior Superintendent of Police Lokeshwar Singh, Additional District Magistrate Anil Garbyal, Joint Magistrate Dikshita Joshi, and other officials and dignitaries were present on the occasion.
