Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami planted a sapling with his mother Bishna Devi at the government residence premises as part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ (One Tree for Mother) campaign. Highlighting the emotional and environmental significance of the initiative, he urged citizens to plant trees in tribute to their mothers and to take environmental responsibility seriously.
He stated that the campaign symbolizes both reverence for one’s mother and commitment to nature. The CM also emphasized that everyone must contribute to the environmental conservation movement inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He appealed to the public to actively participate in the campaign and plant more trees as part of their moral and social duty.
