Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a review meeting of the Skill Development and Labour Department. During the session, he assessed the progress of various departmental schemes and issued important directives to the officials to enhance implementation efficiency.
The Chief Minister emphasized the need for aligning skill development initiatives with local employment opportunities, particularly in hill areas. He also instructed officers to ensure that training programs are demand-based and lead to actual job placements or entrepreneurship opportunities for the youth.
Further, CM Dhami stressed on timely completion of ongoing projects and urged the department to coordinate with industries and training institutions to expand the reach and effectiveness of skill programs. He also reviewed the performance of schemes aimed at labour welfare and directed improvements in benefit delivery mechanisms.
