Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid homage to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on his birth anniversary by garlanding his statue at Deendayal Park, Dehradun. He said that Upadhyay dedicated his life to the upliftment of the poor, marginalized, and underprivileged sections of society. His ideals and teachings continue to inspire even today.
The Chief Minister added that Upadhyay’s philosophy of Antyodaya remains a guiding principle for the state’s development policies. He emphasized that the government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of central and state schemes reach the last person in society.
Later, CM Dhami also offered floral tributes to Upadhyay’s portrait at the Chief Minister’s residence. The occasion was attended by BJP National General Secretary (Organization) B.L. Santosh, Rajya Sabha MP and State BJP President Mahendra Bhatt, MLA Khajan Das, and other public representatives.
