As the Kanwar Mela reaches its peak in Haridwar, saffron hues dominate the Ganga ghats and highways. On this occasion, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Haridwar and personally welcomed the Kanwariyas. In a rare gesture, the Chief Minister washed the feet of the devotees himself.
Following the ceremony, a flower shower was conducted over the Kanwariyas present at Har Ki Pauri using a helicopter, adding to the festive spirit. The scene was filled with enthusiasm as the devotees chanted “Har Har Mahadev,” echoing through the holy city.
