Dehradun – The new winter flight schedule has been implemented at Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport, offering passengers 30 flights connecting 11 major cities across the country. The schedule will remain in effect from October 26 to March 28 next year.
According to the schedule approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), IndiGo will continue to be the leading airline at Dehradun airport, operating 18 flights to various destinations. Air India will run 9 flights, Alliance Air will operate 2, and Air India Express will manage 1 flight.
Despite the updated schedule, no new airlines or cities have been added this season. Most of the flights will operate on revised winter timings. Out of IndiGo’s total 18 flights, four are not currently operating, while others will continue as per the new schedule.
In comparison, last year’s winter schedule included 33 flights, with connections to cities like Pithoragarh, Ayodhya, and Amritsar. However, these routes are not part of the new schedule. Authorities expect that new routes may be added in the upcoming summer schedule next year.
