DEHRADUN, 25 Oct: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has accorded financial approval pf various development projects worth Rs 163.52 crore across Uttarakhand. The allocations cover a range of infrastructure, housing, and reconstruction works aimed at strengthening civic amenities and improving connectivity in different parts of the State.
An amount of Rs 4.16 crore has been sanctioned for the reconstruction and improvement of the Laluri Ghiyakoti Kyarda Ki Chali motor road under the Dhanolti Assembly Constituency in Tehri Garhwal district. Simultaneously, an amount of Rs 4.57 crore has been approved against the estimated amount prepared by the Uttarakhand Project Development and Construction Corporation Ltd for the development of the Ranakauchi Temple in Champawat.
Further, a sum of Rs 5 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of a new drinking water scheme, including a fresh pipeline and an overhead tank, at Police Line Racecourse, Dehradun. An amount of Rs 51 crore has been approved for the construction of 120 Type-II (Block-C) houses at the same site. For the Bhagirathi Residential Complex of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Rs 19 crore have been sanctioned for a multi-storey building comprising 20 Type-III and 20 Type-IV houses. Additionally, an amount of Rs 54 crores has been approved for the construction of 120 Type-II houses within the IRB Second Battalion complex in Dehradun. Under the State Plan, a total of Rs 13.73 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of multipurpose buildings, including electrification, at Raj Bhavan, Dehradun.
Under the State Plan, the CM also approved an allocation of Rs 5.22 crore for the reconstruction of damaged walls, railing installation, and debris clearance work on the Kedarnath to Garurchatti trek route along the Kedarnath Dham pilgrimage corridor in the Kedarnath Assembly Constituency of Rudraprayag district. Approval has further been granted for Rs 3.39 crores for the reconstruction and improvement of the Damdeval–Gadree motor road up to Jhalpadi in Pokhra Development Block of the Chaubattakhal Assembly Constituency in Pauri Garhwal district.
