Dehradun – The Uttarakhand government is taking firm action against illegal constructions and unauthorized madrasas. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made it clear that this campaign will continue, and action will be taken wherever illegal construction is found.
Speaking to the media during a program, CM Dhami said, “Our government is taking strict steps against illegal construction and encroachment. Every complaint will be investigated, and the guilty will be punished.” Under this campaign against illegal madrasas, over 52 madrasas have been sealed in the last 15 days.
Where Actions Took Place?
- 12 illegal madrasas sealed in Vikasnagar, Dehradun
- 9 illegal madrasas closed in Khatima
- Action taken on 31 illegal madrasas in other districts of the state
The state government stated that a thorough investigation into the recognition and operation of madrasas will be conducted. Any madrasa found operating without permission will be immediately sealed. The government is committed to continuing this campaign further.
