DEHRADUN, 4 Oct: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and the Union Cabinet for granting approval for the establishment of a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Swaad village of Chamoli district.
Dhami said that the demand for a Kendriya Vidyalaya in the well-known Swaad village of Chamoli district had been consistently raised by the local people, and he had been continuously pursuing this request. He added that the establishment of a Kendriya Vidyalaya in this border district will provide quality education to the students of the region and also give the area a new identity.
The Chief Minister further stated that the State government is making continuous efforts to create a favorable educational environment in Uttarakhand. Teachers are being connected with training and innovations to ensure that students receive not just quality education but also a conducive learning atmosphere.
