Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today addressed Tehsil Day programs held across the state through virtual mode from the CM residence. He interacted with citizens, listened to their concerns, and instructed officials to ensure quick resolutions. The CM said Tehsil Day is a strong platform for solving public issues, and the government’s objective is timely disposal of every complaint.
He directed that most problems should be resolved at the tehsil level itself, eliminating the need for people to visit district headquarters or the state government. He emphasized that officials must take Tehsil Day seriously and ensure regular follow-up of unresolved cases so that no grievance remains pending.
Dhami also instructed authorities to identify ineligible individuals who obtained documents like Ayushman cards, ration cards, residence, or caste certificates using false information. He said protecting the rights and resources of the state’s citizens is the government’s priority. Strict action should be taken against encroachments on government land, riverbeds, and other public properties, with immediate steps to prevent future disputes.
The CM announced that land dispute resolution committees will be formed at the tehsil level under the chairmanship of SDMs. These committees, including officials from police, forest, and irrigation departments, will be responsible for stopping encroachments on government land as well as resolving private land conflicts.
Highlighting the recent disaster situation, Dhami directed officials to carry out a quick assessment of damages and speed up relief and reconstruction work. He said the government is giving top priority to rehabilitation and rebuilding in affected areas and asked representatives and officials to directly interact with disaster-hit families.
The CM further instructed officers to remain present in BDC and district panchayat meetings, as such participation will provide a clear picture of grassroots-level problems and help design effective solutions.
The program was attended by Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, DGP Deepam Seth, Secretaries Shailesh Bagauli and Vinay Shankar Pandey, Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari, along with officials and citizens from all tehsils via virtual mode.
