Dhami reviews preparations for main Silver Jubilee celebration event to be held at FRI on 9 Nov

Dehradun, 3 Nov: Uttarakhand is set to commemorate the completion of 25 years of its formation with grand Silver Jubilee celebrations across the state on 9 November. The principal state-level function is scheduled to be held at the Forest Research Institute (FRI) campus, here, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.

After attending the special session of the Legislative Assembly, today, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the FRI campus directly and undertook an on-site inspection of the preparations. He conducted a comprehensive review of the venue, security arrangements, audience seating, traffic management, cultural stage, and reception protocols. The CM also directed the officials to ensure that the historic occasion of State Formation Day is observed in a dignified and well-organised manner.

Emphasising the significance of the event, Dhami remarked that the Silver Jubilee marks Uttarakhand’s 25-year journey of development, struggle, and accomplishments. He emphasised that the celebrations, being held in the presence of PM Modi, would serve as a source of inspiration for the people of the state. He added that the event would reflect the aspirations and achievements of the people of Uttarakhand and reaffirm the government’s commitment to building a prosperous and self-reliant state.

During the inspection at the FRI Campus, Secretary Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey, IG, Garhwal, Rajeev Swaroop, Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari, along with other senior officials from the administration and government, were among those present.
