Dehradun, 8 Oct: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced that he has shifted his official email communications to Zoho Mail. The CM made this announcement through a post on his X account, stating that he has recently switched to Zoho Mail for his email correspondence. He requested all concerned to update their records and use his new address, [email protected], for future communication.
It may be noted here that Dhami’s action follows a similar move by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who had earlier posted on his X account that he too has adopted Zoho Mail for his official correspondence. Shah had posted that he has switched over to Zoho Mail and that his new mail address is amitshah.bjp @ http://zohomail.in.
Soon after Shah’s announcement, Chief Minister Dhami shared a comparable update, informing about his transition to the Indian email service platform.
In his post, Dhami also thanked everyone for their cooperation and attention to the update. It may be recalled that, recently, following some trade differences between India and US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced his government’s attention to switch over to Zoho Office Suite and Mail which is an indigenous platform and office suite. After this, many government functionaries have shown an inclination to move to indigenous digital platforms.
