No More Files in Secretariat: Digital Uttarakhand Platform Brings Everything at One Click

Uttarakhand has taken a major leap toward complete digital governance with the launch of the AI-based Digital Uttarakhand platform (https://digital.uk.gov.in/). Now, key information like budget allocations, court case statuses, meeting schedules, and appointments will be available instantly with just one click—eliminating the need for manual file handling in the secretariat.

The Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) has been linked with the platform to monitor departmental budgets. Officers will be able to view three-year expenditure trends and plan future allocations accordingly. The e-office system is also integrated, allowing senior officials to track how long files have been pending with different departments. Any updates to files will reflect in real time on the portal.

Director of ITDA, Nitika Khandelwal, informed that all data from CM Helpline 1905 and CPGRAMS will now be available on this portal. Officers can directly access complaints and process resolutions from the same interface. Citizen-facing services under the Apuni Sarkar initiative are also accessible for both public use and administrative oversight.

The platform enables better tracking of Chief Minister’s announcements as well. Officials can check project statuses anytime. It also includes features for setting up e-meetings, conducting e-cabinet sessions, and sending internal messages. Court case dates and reminders are also integrated into the portal.

Key AI features include “AI Summary,” which quickly extracts important points from lengthy documents. Another tool, AI Panini, offers precise multilingual translation. Through Bhashini, officers can convert text to speech and vice versa, enhancing both accessibility and efficiency.
