Dehradun, 6 Nov: Doon International School Riverside Campus witnessed an inspiring display of grit and enthusiasm on 5 November, as over two hundred runners took part in the much-anticipated DISRC Marathon 2025. The annual event, a hallmark of the school’s sporting calendar, featured three categories — 7 k.m., 5 k.m., and 3 k.m., — designed to test endurance and perseverance across all age groups.

The marathon route stretched along Paundha Road towards Nanda ki Chowki, tracing the scenic Ghulaita River. With the gentle hills and lush forests providing a tranquil backdrop, participants drew motivation from nature’s beauty as they pushed through moments of fatigue.

Senior boys competed in the 7 k.m. race, senior girls and junior boys ran 5 k.m., while junior girls completed the 3 k.m. stretch. After an intense contest, Churchill House emerged victorious, followed by Lincoln, Gandhi, and Mandela.

The marathon not only showcased athletic prowess but also reflected the Riverside ethos of resilience, teamwork, and determination, leaving behind a trail of inspiration for all.
