DM Bansal conducts inspection at FRI campus ahead of PM’s visit

Dehradun, 5 Nov: District Magistrate Savin Bansal conducted a surprise inspection at the Forest Research Institute (FRI) campus at 5:30 a.m. this morning to review the ongoing preparations for the Prime Minister’s scheduled programme. The visit was carried out in accordance with the Chief Minister’s directives to ensure the grand success of the State’s Silver Jubilee celebrations marking Uttarakhand’s Foundation Day. The CM has instructed that arrangements at the venue be monitored round-the-clock to maintain the highest standards of coordination and execution. Acting on these instructions, the DM reached the site in the early hours today to personally assess the progress of works and ensure that all departments involved were adhering to the timeline and quality benchmarks. The inspection covered various aspects of the venue’s readiness, including security arrangements, seating, access control, and logistical support. The administration is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the Prime Minister’s visit to the FRI campus on 9 November is conducted smoothly and reflects the spirit of Uttarakhand’s 25-year journey as a State.
