Dehradun, February 24, 2025 – Following Chief Minister’s visit, District Magistrate Sanveg Bansal conducted a surprise inspection at Tyuni Primary Health Center, addressing long-pending issues on the spot. Observing poor conditions, he reprimanded the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and ordered all deficiencies to be rectified before next month’s review.

Key Decisions Taken by the DM:

  • Approval for new ultrasound and X-ray machines, along with UPS setup.
  • Radiologist from Mussoorie to provide services twice a month.
  • Proposal for a female doctor’s appointment to be sent immediately.
  • Maternity ward expansion from two to four beds.
  • Sanctioned five electric kettles and 15 heaters for patient and newborn care.
  • Immediate approval for sanitation staff hiring and renovation of hospital washrooms.

Emphasizing efficiency in administration, DM Bansal directed officials to expedite approvals without bureaucratic delays. He warned that despite adequate funding, poor facilities would not be tolerated.

Recognizing health staff efforts, he instructed that doctors, ANMs, and paramedics be honored at the state level on August 15. He also ordered all preparations for the upcoming health camp to be completed on time.
