Dehradun, 8 Nov: A blood donation camp was organised on 7 November by the Dehradun Seafarers Welfare Association (DSWA) in association with Zasha Maritime Institute. The initiative aimed to encourage voluntary blood donation and raise awareness about the importance of contributing to society through such humanitarian causes.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from maritime students, seafarers, and members of the local community. Qualified medical professionals supervised the entire process, ensuring that all safety protocols were followed.

Speaking on the occasion, Saurabh Vaish, representative of DSWA, said, “Blood donation is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to save lives.
