Earthquake Tremors Felt Near Tharali and Bageshwar, People Rush Out of Homes

Uttarakhand: Strong tremors were felt in parts of Tharali and areas along the Bageshwar border at around 2:42 p.m. on Sunday. Although the earthquake lasted only a few seconds, it created panic among residents, prompting many to rush out of their homes.

District Disaster Management Officer Nandkishor Joshi confirmed that the earthquake’s epicenter was located in the Bageshwar district. The tremors were reportedly felt most strongly in Gwaldam and nearby regions. No damage or injuries have been reported so far.
