Dehradun, 6 Nov: Dehradun-based actor Pratima Bharti is all set to make a mark with her upcoming film Jassi Weds Jassi, releasing in theatres on 7 November 2025. She plays a pivotal role as the wife of popular comedian and The Kapil Sharma Show fame, Sudesh Lehri, adding depth and emotion to the story. The film is partly shot in Uttarakhand and has a few more actors from the state like Navneet Gairola, Harshit Verma and Mahima Bisht in very important roles.
Pratima’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring. Married to Col Bhaskar Bharti (Retd), she began her acting career barely three years ago after her husband’s retirement, proving that passion knows no age or boundary. Her commanding stage presence and expressive performances in plays like ‘Shaadi ka Album’, ‘The Hothouse’, ‘Tax-Free’, and ‘The Mouse-Trap’ brought her well-deserved recognition in theatre circles.
Transitioning seamlessly into films, she was recently been seen in Bollywood films ‘Mannu Kya Karega’ and Tinchari Mai – The Untold Story. Her performances in the web series on YouTube, Grahao ki Gaatha – Chandra Mahadasha and Mangal Mahadasha have also earned appreciation online and amongst her fans.
