Gang War in Haridwar: One Killed, Another Critically Injured in Firing at Bahadrpur

A violent gang war erupted in Haridwar’s Pathri police station area on Sunday night, leading to a fatal shooting. The clash, fueled by an old rivalry, took place near Bahadrpur Jat railway crossing and soon escalated into gunfire. One youth, identified as Rajan from Vikas Kumar’s faction, was shot and later declared dead by doctors at the hospital. Another youth, Jatin Chaudhary, sustained a bullet wound in the abdomen and has been referred to Meerut for treatment.

Following the incident, SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal, SP Dehat Shekhar Suyal, and CO Laksar Natasha Singh rushed to the scene with heavy police deployment. Authorities confirmed that the two factions had longstanding enmity. With tensions rising in the village, additional security forces have been stationed, and an investigation is underway.
