Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh released a coffee table book titled “Seva, Sankalp aur Samarpan ke Char Varsh” at Raj Bhavan. The book, prepared by the Raj Bhavan Information Complex, highlights the Governor’s achievements during his four-year tenure, completed on 15 September. It showcases his inspiring thoughts and work on AI technology, education, women empowerment, youth guidance, and other social themes. A short film on his tenure was also screened on the occasion.
During the program, Raj Bhavan officials and staff were honored for their exemplary contributions. Comptroller Pramod Chamoli, who has served with dedication for over 23 years, received the “Lifetime Achievement Award.” He was recognized for his outstanding management and commitment in running the domestic section and organizing events at Raj Bhavan. The Governor said Chamoli’s work ensured discipline, efficiency, and transparency in the administration.
Congratulating other awardees, Governor Singh said the recognition reflects their honesty, dedication, and commitment to duty. He urged all employees to continue working with the same sincerity and set an example for others. He emphasized that Raj Bhavan represents the entire state, and the work style of its staff plays a crucial role in creating a positive message for the people.
