Haridwar Flyover Crash: Speeding Car Hits Generator, Player and Two Workers Dead

Haridwar – A speeding Baleno car crashed into a stationary generator near Premnagar Ashram flyover in the Kankhal area of Haridwar. The impact was so strong that the car was completely damaged. The driver and two labourers lost their lives in the accident.

The car, travelling from Dehradun to Haridwar, was driven by 20-year-old volleyball player Arpit Saini. Police said the vehicle was at high speed when it hit the generator placed on the flyover. Arpit died on the spot, while two workers, Raju Rai and Ajab Singh, died during treatment.

Arpit’s friend Rahman, who was also in the car, was seriously injured and is receiving medical care. Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem and started the investigation. CO City Shishupal Singh Negi said the cause of the crash is being examined.
