The International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh will be held from March 1 to 7, featuring yoga and spiritual gurus. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate the event.
Organized by the Tourism Department and Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN) at Ganga Resort, the festival is expected to host more than 20,000 yoga practitioners. Eminent personalities such as Swami Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj, Acharya Balkrishna, Swami Atmaswaroop, Jaya Kishori, and Akshat Gupta will guide participants.
The festival will feature cultural performances by Indian Ocean, Prem Joshua, Jyoti Nooran, and Narendra Singh Negi. Yoga experts like Grand Master Akshar, Yogi Abhishek Soti, Yogini Usha Mata, and Dr. Lakshmi Narayan Joshi will lead yoga sessions.

Participants can register online via GMVN’s official website, gmvnonline.com, or opt for offline registration. This year, the festival follows a “Green Theme,” with special cleanliness drives at the venue and along the Ganges.
