Rajit Gupta from Kota, Rajasthan, has topped the prestigious JEE Advanced 2025 exam by securing All India Rank 1 with 332 marks, bringing pride to the city and its coaching community. A resident of Mahaveer Nagar, Rajit attributed his success to staying happy and learning from mistakes rather than following a strict study schedule.
In an interview with Amar Ujala, Rajit shared that he only studied when he felt like it but ensured full concentration during those hours. He avoided rigid routines, believing they create unnecessary pressure. Instead, his approach was to study with interest and keep his mind stress-free.
He emphasized that his key to success was to avoid repeating mistakes. “Mistakes make your foundation stronger when corrected. I always focused on not repeating them,” he said. Even during preparation, Rajit kept himself grounded, often playing with kids in his colony and staying confident about his progress. He also stressed the importance of clearing doubts before moving on to the next topic, ensuring a deep understanding rather than superficial learning.
