Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed grief over the death of Jitendra Kumar and spoke to his family members on the phone to extend condolences. He assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible under relevant legal provisions.
On Friday, Pauri District Magistrate Swati Bhadauria and SSP Lokeshwar Singh met Jitendra’s family and briefed them on the actions taken so far. CM Dhami also prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family.
The Chief Minister assured the family of a fair investigation, directing the police to conduct a thorough and speedy probe. Police have already arrested five people, including Himanshu Chamoli, from Dehradun in connection with the case.
