Strict Rules for DJ Operators During Kanwar Yatra: No Competitions, Only Devotional Music Allowed

Ahead of the upcoming Kanwar Yatra, the police have imposed strict regulations on DJ operators. A meeting was held at Mangalore Kotwali with DJ operators from Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Khatauli, Jansath, and nearby areas, where officials made it clear that no DJ competitions will be allowed during the Yatra.

Inspector Shanti Kumar of Mangalore Kotwali stated that DJs must keep moving and cannot stop on roads. Mounting speakers or any equipment outside the vehicle’s body will invite strict action. Only devotional songs will be permitted, and any song or speech that targets a specific religion is completely banned.

Violators of these guidelines will face legal action, including DJ equipment seizure. Additionally, YouTubers attending the Yatra have been instructed not to create or share provocative reels. Instead, they have been urged to promote only government-approved messages to maintain harmony.

Sub-inspector Pradeep Kumar and Narson Police Outpost in-charge Hemdutt Bhardwaj were also present during the meeting.
