Life-Saving Skills taught to GEH students

Dehradun, 20 Nov: At Graphic Era, today, students were trained in essential life-saving techniques to handle emergency situations effectively.

On the occasion of World Anaesthesia Day, a workshop on Basic Life Support (BLS) was organised at Graphic Era Hospital. During the workshop, students were given focused and practical knowledge of critical emergency medical procedures. They practiced the correct rhythm, pressure, and breathing process of CPR, and were also trained in airway management, primary assessment, quick decision-making, and teamwork.

The BLS workshop was jointly organised by the Paramedical Department of Graphic Era Deemed University and the Anaesthesia Department of Graphic Era Hospital. The programme was attended by Medical Superintendent Dr Gurdeep Singh Jheetey, Anaesthesiologist Dr Rajat Kumar, Anaesthesiologist Dr Avdesh Kumar, Neonatologist and Paediatric Specialist Dr Girish Gupta, Neonatologist Dr. Sumit Dagar, Head of Paramedical Department Dr Rinku Yadav, Dr Tanya Goel, Dr Upasana Joshi, along with other faculty members and students.
