Lucknow to Host National Jamboree After 61 Years, PM Modi to Inaugurate

After a gap of 61 years, the National Jamboree is set to return, with Lucknow hosting the grand youth event from November 23 to 29 at the Defense Expo Ground in Vrindavan Yojana. A large tent city is being built for the occasion, with the foundation ceremony scheduled for September 29. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the jamboree, while President Droupadi Murmu is expected to attend the closing ceremony.

The jamboree will feature adventure activities such as high ropes, ziplining, trekking, and an adventure park to instill courage and confidence among participants. Youngsters will have opportunities to test their limits and overcome fears through these challenges.

In addition to adventure, the event will showcase a cultural blend with global village exhibitions, folk dances, plays, and musical performances. Participants will experience India’s diversity as well as traditions from around the world, making the jamboree a platform for fostering brotherhood and global cultural exchange.
