Madmaheshwar Doli Reaches Gaundar Village; Temple Doors to Open Wednesday Morning

The ceremonial Doli of Lord Madmaheshwar, the second Kedar, reached Gaundar village on Tuesday, where villagers welcomed it with devotion and grandeur. The temple doors of Lord Madmaheshwar will be opened on Wednesday at 11 AM with full rituals.

Earlier on Tuesday, priests performed abhishek and joint aarti of Goddess Rakeshwari and Lord Madmaheshwar at the Rakeshwari Temple in Ransi village. After circumambulating the temple and blessing devotees, the Doli began its journey towards the shrine at 7:30 AM.

Trekking through dense forests, the Doli reached Gaundar village by 10:30 AM after covering a 6-km distance. Devotees stationed the Doli at the Panchayati Chowk for the night. It will resume its journey to the main Madmaheshwar temple from Gaundar at 6 AM on Wednesday, with the temple doors set to open during the auspicious hour.

Notable attendees included Shiv Singh Rawat, Alam Singh Panwar, Fate Singh Panwar, Veer Singh Panwar, Deepak Panwar, Ramdutt Goswami (headmaster of Juha Gaundar), and Deepak Rawat (headmaster of the primary school).
