In its 111th board meeting, the Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) approved a proposal to launch a new residential scheme aimed at providing affordable housing. The board also gave its nod for land selection within the MDDA jurisdiction to implement this new housing project.
The move is part of MDDA’s ongoing efforts to address the growing housing demand and provide cost-effective living options to residents. The approval marks a significant step toward ensuring planned urban development and accessible housing for economically weaker and middle-income groups in the region.
Further details regarding the scheme’s location, eligibility, and application process are expected to be announced after the formal planning phase is completed.
