A case of fraud has surfaced in Uttarakhand involving Principal Secretary Meenakshi Sundaram. Unidentified individuals used his photo on a WhatsApp profile and allegedly demanded money from various people. Sundaram lodged a formal complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) regarding the matter.
In the complaint, it was stated that unknown persons have set his photograph as a profile picture on WhatsApp and are making inappropriate monetary demands from several individuals, including government officials. He also mentioned that this is not the first time such impersonation has occurred—similar fraudulent activities had previously targeted department officials in his name.
