National Games: CM Inspects Prep Ahead of Closing Ceremony

Ahead of the closing ceremony of the 38th National Games, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected the international stadium in Gaulapar on Thursday to review the arrangements. His visit comes in preparation for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s arrival for the event. During the inspection, CM Dhami also felicitated fencing winners with medals. Sports Minister Rekha Arya was also present at the venue. Artist Shweta Mahara and her team conducted rehearsals for the closing ceremony.

Special Transport and Parking Arrangements

To manage the crowd, the transport department has set up 16 parking zones, accommodating 1,980 cars, 995 buses, and 50 bikes. Six VIP parking zones have also been designated within a 1.3 km radius of the stadium:

  • Nawabkheda (1.30 km away) – 250 cars
  • Devi Temple (850 m away) – 120 cars
  • Petrol Pump Complex (700 m away) – 350 cars
  • 50-50 Mart (350 m away) – 100 cars
  • Zoo Director’s Office (70 m away) – 80 cars
  • ISBT (350 m away) – 250 cars

With these arrangements, authorities aim to ensure the smooth execution of the National Games closing ceremony.
