The National Skiing Competition scheduled to take place in Auli from January 29 to February 2 has been postponed due to inadequate snowfall. Ajay Bhatt, General Secretary of the Winter Games Federation of Uttarakhand, confirmed the delay, citing insufficient snow as the primary reason.
The federation has announced that new dates will be decided in February, contingent on adequate snowfall in the region. While the selection process for skiing participants has already been completed, the postponement has left many athletes disappointed.
