Four Naxals Killed in Police Encounter Near Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh Border

An encounter broke out on Wednesday morning between police forces and Naxals near the Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh border in Gadchiroli district. According to officials, four Maoists have been killed so far.

The clash occurred after the C-60 commando unit of Gadchiroli police launched a search operation in Koparshi village following intelligence inputs about Naxal movement. During the operation, the Naxals opened fire, prompting security forces to retaliate. The exchange of fire is still underway, and additional reinforcements have been rushed to the area.
