As the NDA government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi completes 11 years in power, BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda presented a detailed report card of the government’s achievements. Speaking on the occasion, Nadda said that before 2014, governance was marked by corruption and negativity. “We speak of a developed India. Over the past 11 years, we have laid its foundation by removing corruption and instilling transparency,” he said.
Nadda emphasized that the NDA is a transparent and visionary government, which has moved forward with the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas. “People today say with pride—Modi hai to mumkin hai,” he remarked.
He said that 11 years ago, politics in India was dominated by appeasement and social division aimed at protecting power. “After 2014, Prime Minister Modi brought a responsible and accountable governance model. We started the politics of report cards—placing our work transparently before the people,” he added.
According to Nadda, Modi government has fundamentally transformed Indian political culture, and this change must be recorded in golden letters. He termed this period as Amrit Kaal, stating that in these 11 years, India has taken firm strides towards becoming developed and self-reliant.
Highlighting key reforms, Nadda recalled the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, calling it a landmark decision once thought impossible. He also mentioned the rising voter participation in the region, noting a 58.46% turnout in the Lok Sabha polls and 63% in the J&K Assembly elections, crediting the Modi government’s decisive leadership for this shift.
