New Route Opened for Pilgrims Visiting Kainchi Dham; Traffic Relief Expected

Nainital – In another development, devotees visiting the Kainchi Dham temple will soon get relief from traffic jams. To reduce traffic pressure on the Almora–Haldwani highway and in the Kainchi region, the PWD has started a survey for a new alternative 3 km road from Kainchi Hali Motor Road to Tadikhet village.

The proposed route will connect several villages and provide an alternate passage for visitors and farmers transporting produce from nearby areas. Once constructed, commuters will be able to travel from Hali to Tadikhet and further connect to the highway at Lohali, and via Nathuwakhan reach Quarb.
