In a powerful military response against terrorism, Indian armed forces launched “Operation Sindoor” late Wednesday night, targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The coordinated operation by the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force was conducted entirely from Indian territory using precision-guided missile systems.
According to sources cited by ANI, nine terror bases were successfully hit—four located deep inside Pakistan (including Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Sialkot) and five in PoK. These sites were reportedly linked to terror outfits Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, including locations associated with Hafiz Saeed. The attacks followed the recent terror strike in Pahalgam and were part of a planned retaliatory response.
The strikes were guided by intelligence inputs from Indian security agencies. All three services employed state-of-the-art weaponry, including loitering munitions capable of pinpoint targeting, ensuring minimal collateral damage and maximum impact. The selected targets were known hubs for planning and executing attacks against India.
The Indian military’s joint strike marks a significant escalation in its policy of zero tolerance toward terrorism and state-sponsored attacks. The operation reinforces India’s resolve to dismantle terror infrastructure across the border while maintaining operational control and precision.
