Pakistan Targets Indian Bases Using Civilian Aircraft; India Destroys Its Air Defence Radar

In a major escalation following India’s Operation Sindoor, Pakistan attempted to strike multiple Indian military installations on using drones, rockets, missiles, and artillery. The attacks, which occurred between 8 and 10 PM, targeted Jammu, Pathankot, Firozpur, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, and Jaisalmer. However, all strikes were effectively neutralized by Indian forces.

According to Colonel Sophia, India responded swiftly with precision drone strikes, successfully destroying a Pakistani air defence radar. Pakistan reportedly violated Indian airspace multiple times along the western border, from Leh to Sir Creek, deploying 300–400 drones across 36 locations to conduct surveillance and test India’s air defences.

Pakistan also carried out heavy shelling across the LoC using high-calibre artillery guns in Tangdhar, Uri, Poonch, Mendhar, Rajouri, Akhnoor, and Udhampur. Several Indian soldiers were injured, but retaliatory action inflicted significant damage on Pakistan’s military assets.

Colonel Sophia further revealed Pakistan irresponsibly kept its civilian airspace open during the strikes, potentially using commercial aircraft as human shields. Forensic analysis of downed drones confirmed they were of Turkish origin. Later that night, a Pakistani armed UAV attempted to attack Bathinda military station but was intercepted and neutralized.
