Dehradun: The Uttarakhand Berozgar Sangh has alleged that the UKSSSC graduate-level recruitment exam paper was leaked, triggering massive outrage among unemployed youths. Protesters gathered in large numbers, blocked roads, and later marched towards the state secretariat demanding accountability.
The exam, held on Sunday at 445 centers across the state, reportedly saw a paper set leaked around 11:35 am—just half an hour after it began. Addressing the media at Press Club, union president Ram Kandwal claimed the leak originated from a Haridwar center. He further stated that questions from the leaked set matched those given to candidates during the exam, breaching its confidentiality.
Despite repeated requests to postpone the test due to ongoing disaster situations in the state, the exam was conducted. Protesters said their demands were ignored by both the Chief Minister and the commission’s chairman.
Gathering first at Parade Ground in Dehradun, youths organized their protest march to the secretariat. The union has demanded a CBI probe into the entire incident.
