A case has been filed against a former employee of Patanjali Organic Research Institute in the Pathri police station area of Haridwar. The institute has accused him of fraud involving lakhs of rupees and damaging the company’s reputation.
According to the complaint filed by Girish Joshi, a representative of the institute, the accused, Radheshyam Srivastava from Ainchwara in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, was entrusted with the marketing and distribution responsibilities of Patanjali’s products in the Guna and Shivpuri regions in 2018. The company deals in organic fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and related products.
Srivastava allegedly collected product orders and cash payments from distributors using the company’s name, but instead of depositing the money, he misused it for personal gain. The institute claimed that his actions not only led to financial losses but also harmed Patanjali’s reputation among its distributors.
The Haridwar police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation into the matter.
