PM Modi Inaugurates and Lays Foundation for Projects Worth ₹47,600 Crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, beginning his speech with “Bharat Ki Jai,” inaugurated and laid the foundation for 15 major infrastructure and development projects worth ₹47,600 crore in Uttar Pradesh. Addressing a large public gathering, PM Modi also launched the second phase of the Kanpur Metro Rail Project by flagging off the initiative.

During the event, the Prime Minister acknowledged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Chief Ministers, and attendees for their support. Noticing some people had brought paintings, he directed SPG officials to collect them and asked the painters to write their addresses on the back, promising to “send something in return.”

In a significant revelation, PM Modi stated for the first time that during Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army directly targeted Pakistani military infrastructure. Recalling his vow to the nation after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, he said, “The bases of those who plotted attacks from Pakistan were turned into ruins. Even Pakistani Army’s bases, under whose shelter terrorists felt safe, were demolished in minutes. Our army brought them to their knees in a single strike.”
