Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Dehradun Airport on Thursday, where he was received by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh. Following the welcome, the Prime Minister proceeded to the State Guest House.
Due to unfavorable weather conditions, PM Modi’s scheduled aerial survey of disaster-affected regions was cancelled. Instead, he is conducting a review meeting at the State Guest House with officials and teams from SDRF, NDRF, and disaster volunteers.
Around 22 disaster-affected individuals and 57 “Aapda Veer” are present during the interaction. After the meeting, the Prime Minister will meet with affected families and members of rescue and relief teams working across various parts of Uttarakhand.
