PM Modi to Launch Suposhit Panchayat Abhiyan and Meet Brave Children

On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Suposhit Panchayat Abhiyan at a program held at Bharat Mandapam. During the event, he will interact with children who have received the Prime Minister’s National Awards and address the nation’s youth.

Objective of Suposhit Panchayat Abhiyan
The initiative aims to improve nutrition levels in rural areas by strengthening nutritional services. As part of the program, 10,000 of the best-performing Gram Panchayats across the country will be awarded. Half of the prize money will be allocated to Anganwadi workers, assistants, and Gram Panchayats, while the remaining funds will be utilized to enhance nutrition levels at Anganwadi centers. The event will be broadcast live on DD News from 12 PM.

Distribution of Property Cards Under the Svamitva Scheme
The Prime Minister will also digitally distribute property cards to over 58 lakh beneficiaries from 10 states and 2 Union Territories under the Svamitva Scheme. This initiative aims to empower and bring transparency to property ownership in rural areas through digital mapping.

Progress in Digital Data and Property Mapping
To date, digital data for over 2.19 crore rural households has been prepared. The goal is to complete property mapping across all villages by 2026. This process will facilitate better property tax collection and ensure effective delivery of government schemes.
