Pauri police carried out a late-night raid at a resort in Yamkeshwar’s Ganga Bhogpur area, detaining 37 people, including nine women, for allegedly participating in a rave party. The raid took place at Ivana Resort after Laxmanjhula police received a tip-off about illegal activities being conducted with participants from outside states.
Station House Officer Santosh Paithwal led the team and found 28 men and nine women inside the resort engaged in the party. Authorities highlighted that all resorts and camping sites in Yamkeshwar were ordered shut by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate from July 1 due to the monsoon. Despite this, the resort owner, identified as Prashant, continued operating the property in violation of official orders.
